SHEET M-00 — THE MOVEPATHS 3 / 3

Every page. Every customer. We move it. Free.

7–14 days to live. Under 4 hours of your time. 96% of organic traffic retained at week 4. Onto Homericly always — off Homericly too, under Gold .

Three paths tied to a guarantee. Pick the one that fits the call you want to make.

SEO PRESERVATION · 12 WEEKS

The line you want is flat. Drag the cursor across the chart to read each week.

  • Homericly
  • Typical
  • Botched
Botched migrations drop 40–60% of organic traffic and take months to recover. Done right — every old URL 301-redirected, sitemap submitted, DNS parallel-cut — the dip is single digits and recovers in two weeks. That’s the default on Homericly.

Most roofers stay on the wrong website because the move terrifies them. It shouldn’t.

We do the move. Every page, every post, every photo, every customer, every form submission, every email subscriber. Free.

Every old URL 301-redirects to the right new one on launch day. Sitemap gets resubmitted. DNS cuts over in parallel. Google never sees a 404.

And if you ever want to leave — under Gold we move you off too. Same day we’d move you onto a competitor.

THE THREE PATHS

Three ways to move. None of them break what works.

Each path is tied to a guarantee tier so you know exactly which safety net catches you on the way.

PATH 1 · MIGRATE NOW

Go live the day it’s ready.

We move every page, post, image, lead and customer onto Homericly. Your domain and your reviews stay yours. Old URLs 301-redirect on launch day so Google never notices.

Tied to Gold · 12-month term · Full refund + $25,000 apology if we miss the milestones. Free migration in either direction.

PATH 2 · PARALLEL RUN

A subdomain. A quarter. Real numbers.

We stand Homericly up on a subdomain or a fresh URL and run it alongside your existing site. Compare numbers side by side — leads, bookings, ticket size. Migrate when you’re convinced.

Tied to Standard · 6-month window · Run Homericly in parallel, decide after 90 days, money back if we underdeliver.

PATH 3 · BUILD NEW · DECIDE LATER

Build now. Switch any time — even a year out.

Build your Homericly site first. Keep the old one untouched. We migrate your content the day you say go — even if that day is a year from now. If you never say go, you still keep the platform.

Compatible with either tier. Switch your guarantee inside the first 90 days.

WHAT WE MOVE

Everything that matters. Nothing left behind.

A migration is only as good as the asset list. Here’s ours.

AssetAutomaticHow it works
Every pageService pages, gallery, about, contact. URLs preserved; old ones 301-redirect.
Blog posts / articlesCategories, tags, dates, authors, and inline media all carried.
Images & mediaRe-served from our CDN. Original filenames kept so existing links work.
Customer records / CRM dataImported from most major roofing CRMs and spreadsheets. Custom fields preserved.
ReviewsImported where the platform allows export. Pulled live from Google Business Profile otherwise.
Forms & historical submissionsForm schemas plus every submission so far. Nothing dropped.
Sitemap.xml & robots.txtRegenerated to match the new URL structure the day before go-live.
301 redirectsEvery old URL points to the right new one. Day one. Google never sees a 404.
SEO meta tags & schemaTitles, descriptions, OG tags, JSON-LD schema — all carried over.
Email subscriber listsSubscribers imported with consent state intact. CAN-SPAM honored.
Custom domainWe schedule DNS cutover and monitor propagation. Zero downtime.
Analytics & trackingYour existing GA / Tag Manager keeps running. New tracking added in parallel.
Custom code / scriptsManual reviewWe review and port what makes sense. Anything that doesn’t — we flag.
Login / customer portalsManual reviewUser accounts move; users keep their email / password but reset on first login for security.

✓ Automatic — handled end to end. Manual review — we still do the work; it just needs a human pass first.

MIGRATION FAQ

Every question we get on the first call.

Plain English. No fine print waiting at the end.

Will my Google ranking drop during the migration?

With Homericly, the drop is typically single digits and recovers in two weeks. We carry over titles, descriptions, and schema. We 301 every old URL. We submit a fresh sitemap on cutover day. Most roofers see zero ranking impact for their highest-volume queries.

Will my email subscribers see anything weird?

No. Every subscriber imports with their consent state intact (CAN-SPAM and prior opt-ins preserved). Active drip campaigns get re-created in Homericly and switched on a scheduled date so no subscriber gets two emails.

What if my domain is registered somewhere I can’t access?

We’ve done this many times. We’ll send a one-page guide on recovering domain access from common registrars. If you’re fully stuck, we host the new site on a subdomain you do control while we sort it out — your business keeps running the whole time.

Can I migrate just part of the site first?

Yes. Path 2 (parallel run on Standard) is exactly that. Homericly runs alongside your old site for a quarter, with whichever sections you choose to migrate first. You compare the numbers and migrate the rest when you’re convinced.

What if I want to leave Homericly later?

Under Gold, we move you off for free — on the same terms we’d move you onto a competitor. We export every page, post, image, customer record and form submission. We point your DNS where you tell us to. We put your migration package together in writing. Under Standard, your content stays portable — you take a clean export and run.

How long does the average Homericly migration take?

7–14 days from kickoff to live for most roofers. Larger sites (hundreds of service-area pages, multi-domain operators) take 2–4 weeks. We give you a fixed-date plan after a 30-minute conversation.

How much of my time does it take?

Under 4 hours total in most cases — a kickoff call, one content review, and the cutover sign-off. Compare to 60–80 hours for a typical DIY migration (the bar chart above is the data).

What does “free migration” cost me, really?

Nothing we charge. We absorb the migration labor, the SEO carry-over work, the redirect mapping and the DNS coordination. Out-of-pocket costs we don’t control — domain registration, third-party software licenses, paid ads you’re already running — stay yours, same as on any platform.
